As a School Relations Representative, you will sell Youth Frontiers retreat programs to schools in an assigned territory. You will initiate and maintain communication with schools through a proactive sales approach and develop relationships with schools. As an SR Representative, you will be responsible for meeting established sales goals in an effort to grow the mission of Youth Frontiers to build positive school communities where kids thrive socially, emotionally and academically.

While this is a sales position, our philosophy is to build relationships with schools, understand principals’ and counselors’ needs around school climate and social-emotional learning, and partner with schools to support their important work with young people.

  • You have a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years experience in sales.
  • You have experience with CRM database, preferably FileMaker Pro.
  • You have experience with basic software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and are Mac proficient.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to work with a diverse group of individuals.
  • You have strong verbal and written communications skills, organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines and work as part of a team.
  • You might have experience in education or social services.


  • You will establish and maintain new and established school client relationships in a bounded territory. 
  • You will build relationships with school personnel to drive program sales. 
  • You will follow up on referrals and new school leads.
  • You will assist with sales, marketing and other lead generation efforts.
  • You will attend tradeshows for the given territory.
  • You will support and attend events to generate new relationships (fundraising, marketing).
  • You will sell YF Programs within assigned territory.
  • You will initiate and work from a sales plan, updated twice yearly.
  • You will meet sales goals and objectives assigned by Executive Team.
  • You will follow up on cold and warm phone calls from sales pipeline.
  • You will host visitors on retreats and present programs to schools.
  • You will close new and rebook retreat sales.
  • You will attend and participate in sales meetings and trainings as planned for the department.
  • You will support client retention as needed through phone calls and relationship maintenance.
  • You will assist in the execution of marketing plans of Youth Frontiers as required.
  • You will update and maintain contact and conversation information in the Youth Frontiers database.
  • You will work with Director of Sales and Executive Team to execute a bi-annual individual and team strategy.
  • You will travel to your territory every other month for 2-4 days on average.
  • You will use annual sales analysis to determine best practices and drive future strategy.
  • You will preform other duties and special projects as apparent or assigned by Supervisor.


Youth Frontiers has a $4M operating budget.
