OVERVIEW: This position leads a team of Sales Development Representatives responsible for client prospecting, inbound follow-up, refining and expanding program pipeline, generating new connections based on client personas, engaging in conversation to generate interest, and booking meetings on behalf of the Sales team. In addition to leading the Sales team, the Sales Development Manager will work closely with Marketing and the Director of Finance and Operations to develop and execute sales strategies for our programs, including Student, Educator and Leadership, and consistently evaluate client pipeline.

Lead and Opportunity Management
- Focus personal outreach and opportunity development of key target accounts and larger opportunities.
- Ensure every sales representative is executing daily on best practice playbooks and process to achieve conversion results.
- Review daily activity and productivity metrics dashboard.
- Create and review sales representatives lead and opportunity conversion reports.
- Track the team’s progress towards weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals including call and email cadence, connect rates, meetings booked, pipeline generation and best practice lead conversion rates.
- Interact closely with Marketing and Revenue Operations, to ensure SDR cross functional alignment.
- Attend weekly meetings to sync with Marketing on new campaigns and provide feedback on existing campaigns
- Develop SDR cadences and playbooks in conjunction with marketing.
- Achieve and exceed monthly SDR qualified opportunity stage goals.
- Willingness to act as both a player & a coach managing both personal and team targets & KPIs.
- Ensure the team is utilizing the SalesForce platform correctly and to the fullest.
- Manage a team of 1-2 Sales Representatives.
- Implement an SDR training/enablement curriculum ensuring new hires are onboarded successfully and ongoing training needs are fulfilled for the existing team members.
- Train the team through role play sessions and recorded call debriefing and coaching.
- Inspire, motivate and lead the SDR team to maximize their potential and professional growth.
- Hold weekly 1:1s to review productivity metrics.

- Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
- Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
- Experience in customer relationship management.
- Experience managing and directing a sales team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
