Overview: The Marketing & Digital Specialist supports the planning and day-to-day execution of Youth Frontiers’ marketing and communications strategies — connecting people, purpose and brand to advance our mission to inspire character, civility and community. This role translates strategy into actionable, multi-channel campaigns that elevate the brand, drive engagement and support program growth and fundraising success. The Marketing & Digital Specialist helps to design and oversee campaigns, manages digital tools and systems, and ensures Youth Frontiers’ story reaches and inspires key audiences — educators, donors and partners. The ideal candidate is highly organized, data-driven, creative and deeply collaborative.

- Pay Range: $65,000-$75,000 annually, commensurate with experience

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & DUTIES
Campaign Leadership
- Develop, design and implement integrated marketing campaigns that support development, school relations, and program goals.
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to develop, design and execute audience-specific messaging and engagement journeys.
- Establish campaign KPIs, track outcomes and provide regular performance reports and insights.
- Use data-driven analysis to optimize campaign effectiveness and inform future strategy.
- Manage content and marketing calendars to ensure timely, coordinated delivery of materials and communications.
Digital Marketing & CRM Management
- Serve as primary administrator and strategist for Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) — designing, automating and optimizing multi-step donor and client journeys.
- Partner with the Development, School Relations and Database teams to ensure accurate data synchronization and effective segmentation within Salesforce.
- Manage the Youth Frontiers website (currently built on WordPress); oversee updates, landing pages, and microsites to improve user experience, conversion, SEO and GEO performance.
- Lead external web and digital vendors toward effective, sustainable solutions that align with YF’s mission, technology needs and brand.
- Maintain and analyze digital performance metrics across web, email and social media channels.
Creative Direction & Brand Stewardship
- Translate the Youth Frontiers brand and mission into compelling creative campaigns and materials.
- Ensure all print, digital and video communications adhere to brand standards for voice, tone and visual identity.
- Collaborate with the Senior Video & Communications Specialist to produce high-quality collateral, digital assets, and event materials.
Team & Project Management
- Oversee day-to-day project execution and timelines using Asana for task tracking and workflow management.
- Lead project kickoff meetings, manage interdepartmental communication and ensure deadlines are met.
- Contribute to an inclusive, mission-driven team culture that values creativity, accountability and excellence.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in marketing, including 2+ years managing campaigns or projects.
- Proven experience managing Salesforce (CRM) and strong familiarity with Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement).
- Demonstrated success executing data-driven campaigns with measurable performance outcomes.
- Experience with Asana (or similar project management tools).
- Strong web management skills, including experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms and the ability to manage vendor relationships for larger web initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail and brand consistency.
- Strong analytical mindset - confident in interpreting data and presenting insights, with proficiency in Google Analytics and marketing performance reporting.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Proactive problem solver who thrives in both leadership and hands-on roles.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Background in nonprofit or mission-driven marketing.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and social media management tools.
- Understanding of SEO, AEO and GEO principles and their application in digital strategy.
